Greetings, ‘Pool’ Team –
Here we are entering Tech Week on our latest Playwrights
West collaboration, and things are going to get busy and intense as we ramp up
to opening. Please read all of the
following, whether you be Cast, Crew, Management, or Support (sorry, it's a long one):
-Take Care of Yourself: Be getting rest, quality food, drinking
plenty of water, spending a little time with your families, etc. This process is a stressor on anyone, and it
up to each of us to insure we are keeping ourselves healthy in every way!
-Take Care of Your Business: COMMUNICATE with the families,
friends, bosses, mentors, counselors, coaches, advisors, etc. that are a part
of your life about your obligations over these next three weeks. It’s a lot, but it’s all been on the schedule. This is a scheduling-conflict-free time from
here out, so consider this a reminder about the COMMITMENT you all made at the
outset of this process.
-Take Care of Your Academic Load: We will insure you will
have time each day to dedicate to your studies…USE IT! There is no excuse for falling behind in
classes if you plan ahead, use the time you do have available to you, and
communicate (there’s that word again) with your teachers and families. No excuses!
-All Leads, Actors, and Management are called from here out EVERY
DAY there’s a call starting Monday, February 1st (tomorrow). Know your
schedule. If we find you’re not needed,
or you’ve accomplished your tasks relative to the day’s work, we’ll be sure and
release you ASAP…we won’t waste your time!
-ALL Show Support/Run Crew members are called beginning on
Monday, February 8th for the entirety of the call…you’re up!
-Strike is REQUIRED of all Leads, Actors, Management, and
Show Support…know the date (2/21) and times (1100am-500pm). Remember: This is the date we’ve got on
reserve in case we need to extend the run of the show, so everyone MUST be
here. Should there be no extension of
the run, we’ll accommodate ill members with light duty, but you’re expected to
attend unless so ill you missed performances.
-Be checking the Callboard and Blog EVERY DAY for
information you need to keep this show running smoothly!
